The
design began as a 65', then everything had to be
revised to be 79', then everything had to be revised
to 85', then to 90'. My calculations showed
that the masts chosen would fail at less than 25
knots wind and the engines chosen would not push
it into a breeze over 25 knots. I got out
of the job and gave it to another designer, including
giving all my CADD files; just to be rid of it.
I'm sure the masts and engines have also been upgraded.
It looks good David. It was an interesting
exercise in creating CNC-ready design files. |
