Economy Multihull Cruisers

40' Demountable Cruising Trimaran

Simple 40' cruising trimaran in developed plywood
This utterly simple 40' cruising trimaran is the boat featured under construction in my CM construction video on DVD.  It was built by one guy in 6 months, including the interior.  He did spend another 5 months painting it outside.

Besides being simple to build, it drives like a sports car. It is quick, responsive and nimble. It has a rotating extrusion mast. It can be built demountable.

Large sausage bags lashed to the nets allow a surprising amount of gear to be stored there. Power is from an 8 hp. outboard.
