Rapid-Construction Multihulls

43' Bridgedeck Catamaran

43' developed-plywood bridgedeck cruising catamaran.
The design philosophy behind this 43' cruising catamaran was for it to be the most easily built fully found ocean catamaran possible.  Every detail is simple to build and purposeful.  It has no fluff anywhere.  It has outboard power, for simplicity.  Walk-through aft crossbeams are all the rage now.  They add one more level of difficulty to build and extra weight.  This design has simple crossbeams with no clever cuts in them.  And that is safer in angry ocean conditions.

This design is built with the fast and simple CM construction.  Core materials are extensively used to make its big surfaces very rigid.  The design is for a very light boat with a relatively big payload.  Notice how high it sits on its lines in the photo above.  No fluff.

Below is shown a galley-down interior.  A variety of interior arrangements are available.
